The 'Copy Recent Activity Details' action within the Workflow Enrichment Actions App by Integration Glue allows you to copy the most recent activity data from a HubSpot record to another property within the same record or across different records. This action is particularly useful for capturing the latest interactions with a contact, deal, or other objects in your CRM, ensuring that key engagement details are easily accessible and up-to-date without requiring manual tracking.
The action automatically identifies the most recent activity, such as emails, calls, meetings, or tasks, and transfers specific details, such as the activity type or date, to the designated property in the record. This helps streamline CRM data and ensures that your team can quickly access the latest engagement data for informed decision-making.
This action is particularly useful when:
- You need to ensure that your records are always updated with the most recent engagement details.
- You want to track the latest activity for easy reference without manually updating the records.
- You are using this data for reporting, triggering follow-up actions, or segmentation based on recent interactions.
- Activity Type to Pull Data From refers to the specific type of activity you want to extract data from. HubSpot allows different activity types like calls, emails, meetings, or tasks. This setting allows you to select which type of activity data to pull from a record.
- Activity Property to Pull refers to the specific property of the selected activity type that you wish to extract. For example, if you choose "Call" as the activity type, the properties could be things like "Call Outcome," "Call Duration," or "Call Notes." You choose which particular piece of information you want to copy over.
- Property to Save Activity Value to defines which property on the record should receive the activity data. For instance, you might want to store the "Call Outcome" or "Meeting Notes" in a custom property on the record, so this setting specifies where to save the extracted activity data within the CRM record.
