      How to get the API's for the 'URL Shortener' app

      To use the URL Shortener App you will need either the Bit.ly or the T.ly API key. You dont need both, you can choose which one you want to use

      To get the Bit.ly API 

      1. Sign-up to Bitly

      2. Click on the settings icon on the left hand menu 

      3. Click on the API Tab under Developer settings at the bottom left

      4. Click on 'Generate Token' - If you have made an account through the google sign in it will request you change your password to proceed
      5. After you have changed your password click on 'Generate Token' and your API token will be generated 
      6. Go over to your MyGlue account 
      7. Click on the 'Apps' option in the top menu 
      8. Find the 'URL Shortener' in your installed apps 
      9. On the far right hand side click on 'Settings' 
      10. Paste your generated API token into the 'Bit.ly' field
      11. Click 'Save Configuration' 
      12. You can now use this app in your workflows

      To get the T.ly API 

      1. Sign up for T.ly

      2. Click on 'Generate API Token' on the right hand side under 'Getting started' 
      3. You need to name what your token will be called
      4. Click Create 
      5. Copy to Clipboard 
      6. Go over to your MyGlue account 
      7. Click on the 'Apps' option in the top menu 
      8. Find the 'URL Shortener' in your installed apps 
      9. On the far right hand side click on 'Settings' 
      10. Paste your generated API token into the 'Bit.ly' field
      11. Click 'Save Configuration' 
      12. You can now use this app in your workflows
