Data Processing Location for Apps

At this time, Integration Glue processes all data on US-based servers. This is not an Integration Glue configuration setting. It is a platform limitation within HubSpot.

Integration Glue uses trusted subprocessors, follows strict security standards, ensures data privacy with stateless processing and encryption, and is working towards SOC2 compliance.

How Data Processing Works

Integration Glue operates as an app within the HubSpot ecosystem. The processing flow is:

1. HubSpot sends a request to Integration Glue

2. Integration Glue processes the request

3. Integration Glue returns the result to HubSpot

At present, the HubSpot platform does not provide visibility of the customer’s data hosting region prior to processing. Because of this, Integration Glue cannot dynamically route requests to region-specific infrastructure.

Integration Glue works closely with HubSpot and has raised a request to support region-aware processing. When HubSpot introduces the ability for apps to identify data regions prior to processing, Integration Glue intends to support regional infrastructure selection where feasible.
