The "Date Calculation Using Business Days" action in the Workflow Calculations App by Integration Glue allows you to perform date calculations that account for business days only. This action enables you to calculate a new date by adding or subtracting a specific number of business days to or from a starting date. It can also exclude weekends and custom non-working days, ensuring accurate scheduling for business-critical tasks.
The calculated result is stored in a custom property, making it available for automation, reporting, or further workflow actions.
- Property to Start From is the date to start the business days calculation from. Choose a date property (e.g., deal creation or last contacted date). Workflow uses this property’s value as the starting input for the action you are configuring
- Property to Set is the number-type property the result of an action will be stored (Shown on your corresponding workflow object)
- Number of Days is the the number of business days to calculate forward or backward from the starting date property.
- Skip Weekends Excludes weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from the calculation, ensuring only weekdays are counted.
- Days to Skip (YYYY-MM-DD) Enter specific dates (in YYYY-MM-DD format) that should be excluded from the calculation, such as holidays. Treated as ‘non-working’ days (Used to skip)
- Day of the Week (optional) Select a specific day of the week (e.g., Monday) to adjust the calculation based on weekly scheduling. Specify which weekdays should be included or excluded
